Can I register a car with a previous salvage title that never passed a salvage inspection in MASS? | Yahoo Answers
Apparently there is no salvage inspection required in RI (where I'm buying the car from) so the owner had all the damage repaired years ago and never bothered getting a salvage inspection. He thinks I might not be able to register it in Massachusetts because MA DOES require such an inspection to have been done to register the car. I don't know much about this, I'm just going off of what the current owner told me. I don't want to buy this car if I can't register/drive it obviously, so what steps do I need to take (if any) to get this on the road?
